Forged steel gate valve is suitable for pressure of 1.6 ~ 42.0mpa (Class 150 ~ 2500), working
temperature of – 29 ~ 425 °C (carbon steel) or -It is used to cut off or connect the medium in the pipeline with small diameter of 29-500 °C (stainless steel). Different materials can be used for water,
steam, oil, nitric acid, acetic acid, oxidizing medium, urea and other media. It is widely used in oil
pipeline.
Structural Characteristics
Most forged steel gate valves are of Dalian type reduced diameter design. Compared with cast steel gate valves of the same caliber, the flow rate is slightly smaller, but the pressure and temperature range they bear are higher than those of cast steel gate valves, the sealing performance is also much better than that of cast steel gate valves, and the service life is longer The flow direction of medium is not limited like other gate valves.
